So sorry for the incommunicado business but although Leipzig was tres, tres beautiful, our hotel was also tres, tres expensive. It cost 15 euro for one day of Internet use - ouch. The bar in the hotel was super riche, therefore, super $$$'s were needed and it even cost 3 € to swim.
We couldn't get into any Mc'Do's to use any free Internet - not in little Leipzig..
So now we made the trek to Dresden and are in our next hotel which, when walking to it, it felt as if we were back in Brussels 3 years ago. Lots of close buildings, construction, weird store fronts and it made us wonder what we had booked. Again, don't judge a place by first impressions.
Our hotel is quaint but well taken care of. We have brkfst every day, free Internet, free use of fitness and spa area and all day long coffee - yeah for me, and all day long cookies, pastries, fruit and juice, yeah for G. Never mind that we had to change our room cause our rad leaked a huge puddle over the floor and nobody noticed. It's still adorable.
We are sitting in our front lobby - near the free stuff :), and will later take our first walk around to see what we will do first. Probably swim later in the evening.
We're baaaacccckkkkk:)
