Berlin, Aug. 13

We got ringed up at 6 and suitcases out at 6:45 and then on the road by 7:30. We have a fully loaded bus of 42 people. G and I always wait until the end and then get on and then we always get the back seats. The nice thing about that is that every day the group goes into a seat rotation and will shortly be in prime seats for the rest of the trip.
We had a rest in a small town of Weimar which is where both Shiller and Goethe lived and were friends. G and I sat in the square on a step and ate our buns from breakfast and then hit the town. We found the houses where each has lived and then found a ginkgo tree museum. Who would have thought a museum would have been in such a small place.
