Oct. Ah, a new month, 1st day in London

Yesterday we said goodbye to the Stuttgart Oct. Beerfest as we would not chose to ever return again. It's a different story for the Fasching fest however that we visited three years ago in the winter time. For two reasons really: 1. We are never going to return to mainland Europe ever again in the high season and 2. It just couldn't hold a candle to the festivities and joyousness of Fasching. So, we walked in the quiet of the day, before a heavy load of the public showed up, and we planted in our memories our favourite spots, purchased some Xmas presents and headed back to the hotel to meet G's cousins at the hotel for a two-hour coffee date. We had a very nice time.
Today, Tuesday we left early to take the S-Bahn and then the plane to Heathrow and found our way to the outskirts of the main city to our hotel.
After some issues with the air conditioning and some men with ladders, we headed out in search of salad and fixings at the local mall. In this process we ended up in the middle of a young man running down an escalator with 2 security cops on his tail as the young man had grabbed someone's backpack and high-tailed it out the door. Welcome to London ;))
