July 22 Last day in the "Anything You Want" city

We're moving on to Almelo tomorrow where my mother's family is from and still resides. We took a canal cruise and saw the city from another perspective this a.m. and then walked for most of the day. We did sit on the side of the canal and watched all the boats jockey for movement, fed a pigeon a whole granola bar and soaked in our first whole sunny day since we left July 5. Then we walked to, in and around The Red Light Area again -gotta love that place, well, we do anyways. You can buy anything there, ANYTHING ;) Of course I'm talking about a new swiss army knife so that we could cut our food.
